Before you consider hiring me, let’s discuss your project and my eyes.

If I were you, I’d want to know how Ken sees.

Does my photographic vision jive with your objectives?

If yes, we have a match. If not, it’s adios amigos.

Above all, I pursue moments of joy.

Go ahead, show me some teeth!

Say the subject is inanimate—the imperiled Great Salt Lake… summer blooms at Red Butte Garden… a shimmering seaport in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia—my objective remains the same:

Reveal the subject’s authenticity in the best light and most compelling way.

Now let’s talk money.

As the competition for assignments is intense — ok, let’s just call it insane — I charge below-market rates. For a while.

Starting fee for an assignment in Salt Lake City/County is $495.00. $595.00 in Park City.

A typical basic assignment takes 4 hours out and back.

Each additional hour over 4 hours and up to 6 hours is $50.00/hour.

After six hours, a total fee will be negotiated depending on time and travel.

If a one-time fee or hourly fees don’t work for you, or if you have a long-term or out-of-state project in mind, let’s talk.

Pictures will be sent to you via the most expeditious and practical method depending on your need for speed and the volume of photos to be sent.

Need an album? Framed prints? Greeting or holiday cards?

Yes, yes and yes.

A groom in a white shirt and black shorts dips his bride in a white dress and sneakers for a kiss on a sidewalk in an urban area with trees and shops in the background. Wedding photography.

There will be a contract… an essential component of any assignment

The contract ensures that we’re both getting what we signed up for.

It spells out details like these:

• 50% up front

• 50% upon approval of the final collection of photos

Once the photos are approved, my Zelle account with Mountain America Credit Union is open to accept your payment.

Once payment is confirmed, your photos will be sent.

Let’s work together
