If I were you, I’d want to know how Ken sees. Does my photographic vision jive with your objectives? If yes, we have a match. If not, adios amigos.

Above all, I pursue moments of joy. No matter the how, what, when, where or why, if there’s something to celebrate, I’ll be there to capture the human experience — the emotional connection I make with you or the one you make with others.

If the subject is inanimate—say, the imperiled Great Salt Lake…a summer bloom at Red Butte Garden… a shimmering seaport in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia — my objective remains the same:

Show the person’s or subject’s authenticity, show it in the best light, and show it in a compelling way that makes your head bob up and down so you hear yourself saying, “Oh, Yeah!”

My 2025 fees are deliberately low, as the competition for assignments is intense.

OK, insane.

Starter fee for an assignment within Salt Lake City/County is $495.00.

A typical basic assignment takes 4 hours out and back.

Each additional hour over 4 hours and up to 6 hours is $50.00/hour.

After six hours, a total fee can be negotiated depending on time and travel.

If a one-time fee or hourly fees don’t work for you, or if you have a long-term plan in mind, let’s talk.

In any event, my fees will be adjusted at the start of 2026.

Regardless of the event, I will spend at least four hours onsite and four hours editing—sifting out the not-quite shots from the keepers. Pictures will be sent to you via the most expeditious and practical method depending on your need for speed and the volume of photos to be sent.

• 50% upon approval of the final collection of photos
